LG & Nanomid - URL entry

Newbie
I have Nanomid on my LG - been great until recently and I had to reset my TV and re-install it.

I have a got a URL from my provider in this format :http://URLSTRING:8080/get.php?username=usrname&password=password&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

However when i post it into the URL field it fails and if I look at the Info that is on the LG TV after its the playlist has been sent to it the username and password are blannk and there is no way to edit the fields in the app on the TV.

Anyone know if I need to reformat this sucker to get it to work? I messsaged Nanomid support but they just tell me its a provider error - which it isn't - its a format URL problem .. Help???

After much hassle I finally resolved it …

nothing to do with the url but my isp had blocked the feed … VPN now in situ ..
Some end users are needing to use vpn to watch football now with isp blocks ect and some providers you don't need vpn as they've got a work round within a week

I heard from next week some providers have found to provide streams where end user has no need for VPN as the providers have found out how to counter the blocks over the last week or so.

Its pretty straight forward and that is to have your own vpn in place and if required just enable it when footy is on. People pay a fraction of the cost for premium tv and its pennies to get your own vpn setup.

True, easy as that.

I looked on their website, it says

"The most advanced IPTV m3u player app, now with built-in VPN service"

I think you have to pay extra for VPN bit. (nano guard),

"We proudly provide the only integrated IPTV security solution for SmartTVs"

Is that what you used ? @gkinghrn

I used Purevpn as it’s fully supported on my router. I think the Nanoguard is just for Nanomid (but I could be wrong) on the TV’s and streaming devices …

could be useful on a non android TV, where you can't install a vpn in the background or you can't use a vpn on your router.

Change it to http:// at beginning bud and the m3u_plus change to m3u_with options&output=ts

edit or try this deleted
That works also just looked on my nanomid account just edit the correct bits

Have you got a VPN set up for the TV? If that URL works on other devices it suggests your URL is fine. I have seen instances though where Nanomid on the TV just refuses t work yet the feed via the samew url on other devices works. Havent worked out the thing that makes it not play but everytime I get a parsing error its due to me forgetting to turn my vpn on for it..

Nanomid dosnt like https bud needs to be http and shouldn’t need to use a vpn just for an app

You are correct on HTTP v HTTPS - the only reason you need to use a VPN though is becuase your ISP blocks the feed due to its content/nature. ISP's are constantly shutting down VPN access points ..... Nanomid now have their own VPN for this service (noted above) recognising its an issue....
