Recommend me a good ISP

Hi all,

my broadband contract is due to change within the next couple weeks. My IPTV provider doesn’t affect me with ISP blocks. I’m currently unable to have a VPN being that I have IPTV rigged up directly on my LG telly. I’ve tried a VPN Router but it was to slooooow to run the IPTV in HD.

Are there any good ISP providers I should be looking at?

Virgin is by far the best in my opinion. Had it 2 years never had any trouble.

TalkTalk are really good but customer service I'd not the best.


The all round best for customer service and everything to be fair is BT

Sounds like you should stay with your current ISP to me.

I am am with VM, but I have heard that Plusnet is good too, but for speed it currently has to be VM, in my area especially

have a look on uswitch broadband as they have some good deals and compare the speeds providers offer in your area

Why on earth has someone reported the initial thread which was asking for advice on an alternative Internet Service Provider?

Maybe the person who reported it did not understand what ISP meant!

It's showing as £60 for me the same price as my BT , i liked voda as never had no issue's with there 70mb just bt at the time were the only one's doing 900.

Then you either didn't have it set up properly
Or you were using one of those little GLarm travel routers
On a 73 meg connection I lose absolutely no speed at all through my VPN router

It's showing as £60 for me the same price as my BT , i liked voda as never had no issue's with there 70mb just bt at the time were the only one's doing 900.

That same deal now comes with a £250 gift card for Amazon/Tesco or Sainsburys. It's coming up fine for me maybe try a different browser.
