Looking for a New Router for my Home ??

Never heard of these will have a read up and see if it all makes sense to me lol
just get cheap deco m4 pack they will do fine or any other mesh system, either way you are still tied to your VM 3 hub,you cannot just replace it with another but you can put it into modem mode and use mesh or another router.

I got a set of these last year and boy it's made a difference, your hub 3 is switched to modem mode, you then plug one of the dec m4's into the vm hub and other M4's around they house, the M4 is now the router and provides stronger wifi. I have one in back room by vm hub 3, one in front room near tv/enigma2 box and one in bedroom upstairs, not had a wifi drop out since installing them

Gather you get full speeds all over your house with this setup mate?

Is it true WiFi can be hacked when your using the mesh systems?

yea, had no issues with speed since installing them.

Any wifi can be hacked if you know what you're doing

Ye get that.

Just read SSID being different on mesh can cause network being exposed.
SSID is the same, I have three dec m4 units and they all use the same SSID, that is the point of mesh, all units have same SSID so devices connect to unit with best signal without having to switch to different ssid on device. I actually used the same SSID that my HUB 3 used when it was in router mode, that way I didn't have to change anything on any of my devices

Like your thinking lol. 3.5 in floppy, well not so floppy lol, now the 5.25 inch where floppy and so easy to damage. Oh the days of Dialup, 56kbs max speed.

What you should get your Grandson for Christmas is what my first computer was, the Sinclair ZX81, with a masive 1KB of ram. 16KB ram packs available seperately. Those that got the spectrum a year or two later were spoilt.

I had 5.25 inch floppy drive for commodore 64 cost a fortune at the time. commodore 16 was my first computer.
