You have to edit the bouquets manually with Notepad++.
The top line highlighted in red is the bouquet name as you want it to appear in the bouquet list.

The bottom line highlighted in green is the channel name as you want it to appear in the bouquet list.
If you rename it to a standard channel name it should pick up the correct picon as well.

I also delete any channels I don't watch and any duplicates in HD or SD. The stream is the top line and channel name is the bottom.

You can also add streams from other bouquets as I have done to create a sports bouquet without having a BT Sports, Sky Sports, UK Sports separately.

Any changes won't show until you refresh the bouquets or restart GUI.
Any changes will be overwritten if you update your bouquets so turn off automatic updates with whatever plugin you use to create them.

Save a copy of the edited bouquets on your PC.

Won't that be easier with adding streams in custommix?

Thanks mate this is very useful and interesting...

I actually thought was asking how to get the grid epg when pressing my epg button on the remote. It just kept bringing up the info bar across the bottom.

I kept changing it in settings but made no difference.

Managed to sort it though by going to button map and removing the infobar and adding frig epg to the epg button.

are you talking about readme for your customix plugin or readme for ABM if ABM it is in
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker
Still can't get it working though :cry: I could do with someone posting a working example with details edited out.

This is the example in the readme.txt but can't work out what F36 is supposed to be and is the stream url including the stream reference as well as the url?

<custommix>
<streams>
<stream url="http://stream.source:port/live/username/F36/password/308.ts" target="118" servicereftype="4097" />
</streams>
</custommix>

Was wondering if someone could help me with an issue, have some knowledge but mainly about flashing from blank and setting up but struggle after that. I have a Zgemma H7S that I flashed with willobuild instructions back in July 22. Its openVIX 8.2.008 version on the machine and I added a line to it using my providers plugin.

All been grand however last few weeks having some problems, When I access Menu and select anything in the "Information" section it immediately crashes the box. Boots back up fine and works but in the last week now when I enter Plugins I get an error that willobuild updater and Backup and restore plugins are failing with a bad magic error. Tried to remove and reinstall them but no difference. Box seems to be acting up after a few hours also with channels from my line provider having a stuttering picture while my older box upstairs with line from same supplier is fine.

I wanted to flash the box but not lose my Line settings and Plugin I use for it, I downloaded the OpenVIX 6.3.2 image but with it being built with willobuild process I am wondering is there a way to update it so that the latest VIX goes on and my willobuild install is maintained/repaired considering the failing plugins.

Also if I have a backup of settings from august 22 on the older image is this fine to apply afterwards.

Appreciate any information you can provide.

Make a settings backup using MENU > SETUP > VIX > BACKUP MANAGER
This should make a backup of your provider details.

Flash using putty and choose a free partition or one that you don't use.

ALTERNATIVELY:

Log into the box using putty and run this command:

rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/*.py

Then do a ViX software update:

MENU > SETUP > SYSTEM > SOFTWARE UPDATE

Thanks for the speedy reply and steps.
can I ask will the alternate approach you mentione resolve the willobuild plugins problem also as I would rather sort this on the current partition if possible.

I've updated an awful lot of stuff lately and can't remember what I did with what.
So long as you make a settings backup, flashing to another partition isn't going to hurt anything and it will be easier to put your sub onto a new image rather than trying to update an image around your sub.
Flashing to another partition means that you can just boot back into the old image using the multiboot manager in standby/shutdown menu.

Do as willo has advised and you can pickup from where you are now if you make a mistake. Nothing wrong with flashing on another slot its the same image and box.
