I think torrentio is down hence the fact that stremio won't be working like it did ..hopefully just normal downtime and nothing more serious.

Torrentio is temporarily down, their service provider shut them down due to complaints from people that want hard working people to pay extortionate prices for streaming platforms. They're working on getting a new provider though so just stay put.

Yes torrentio is down and may be down for some time. In the mean time you can still scrape and return links by configuring one of the following:

Comet
MediaFusion | ElfHosted - Stremio Addon
Jackettio

Configured the same way as you would with torrentio.

Elfhosted was having issues earlier with the amount of people trying to access the site but I was using it about an hour ago and it was working for me.

Are you using the public instance hosted by elfhosted? It has around 4 requests per minute before you start to get rate limited. Better off self hosting to avoid the rate limits.

Patience will likely be needed with the elf hosted options due to the surge in demand until torrentio is sorted.
