What Satellite Positions Sports can be found on. And English audio options

Sky DE on 19.2e is also a good option. Premier League in English including Goal Rush.

For F1 you can either select German commentary or no commentary/ambient sound only.

Most other American or English sports have German or English commentary.

Also most of the Entertainment and Movie channels have original language option.

OK guys, I have scanned 16e and 19.2e and lots of channels are clearing. Which channel on either satellite, if any, will be showing Friday's F1 practice, sprint qualifying, Saturday's sprint, race qualifying and Sunday's race, preferably in HD.

Thanks in advance for any advice 🙂

Sky Sport F1 DE on 19.2e will be showing all sessions. No English commentary though, German or background sounds only.

Evening guys. Just quickly checked on v8 uhd if tnt sports SD is still working. It’s not on mine just wondering if it’s because it has moved or it’s down just like the HD channels.

Thanks for that, it will be strange to miss the commentary but the video is the main thing 🙂
I can get it on streamfire and sportsfire with English commentary on my firestick and Nvidia TV shield pro, but they are only in SD so I would have to watch it on my TV as even though my projector upscales, it would not upscale it enough to make it worth watching, and I am not sure how reliable the stream would be during the race.

I watched the F1 Sprint race on Supersport 1 on 16a but there were occasional static ads about a third of the way down the screen and about a quarter of the width, then at one point the race was shrunk to a small window in the bottom right corner of the screen and 3/4s of the screen was filled with normal adverts across one large window and 2 smaller ones.

I found that Astra 1 on 19.2 east had Sky F1 showing what looked like it was the F1 TV channel, as it didn't match up to anything on the Sky Sports F1 UK schedule but was in English. Then the qualifying started it switched to the same Sky Sports F1 UK schedule with the usual video but with German audio and the only ads were the usual ones that are shown in the breaks between Q1 and Q2 and Q2 and Q3, so was much better for viewing.

I found that I could listen to Damon Hill and some guy I didn't catch the name of, commenting on Radio 5 sports extra, but on DAB it was at least 10 seconds or more ahead of the video, so I tried it on my laptop and that lagged behind the video by some 15 to 20 seconds, so I could pause the video and get it close to being in sync, so hopefully i will be watching the race this evening on that channel on 19.2 and trying to sync it to the audio on my laptop. The trouble with commentary on the radio is that as there is no video for the listener to normally watch, the commentators tend to just waffle ion incessantly, often about irrelevant things but at least it is better than listening to commentary in Albanian on 16 or German on 19.2, and even though I do speak a very little German, I cannot translate it quickly enough when someone speaks in German at a normal speed.

Hopefully this may be helpful to someone like me who only really uses their satellite to watch F1 and occasionally MotoGP.

I can see it looks like comms is on bein Eng 2. When I select that or any other audio I don’t get anything. Could it be something in my settings on viark sat 4k

Watched on 13e with radio 5 commentary which was around 36 seconds behind. Just used timeshift, pausing and playing until somewhere near.

No English in the audio options for the F1 Gaz, the English one was silent but in the description it was for something completely different, even if it had worked.

I did that too Jester, it was about 19.5 seconds behind on 19.2 but the timeshift stopped about half way through the race and I struggled to get it in sync again.

There wasn't much action up front, other than between Lando and Charles, but it was a great result 🙂

19.2 is a bit unstable lately and any glitching affects timeshift 13e SSF1 was much more stable.
