Seems like if Sly UK does come back it will only be on VIP and outside of Europe which is bizarre. Makes it hard to know if it’s best to stick with E2 box or get a box with VIP option

They do a VIP Europe package for the pure Apollo boxes now which is more expensive than VIP MENA, not sure what's happening on the Mars side but you'd assume they'd want money to cover any extra fees. Maybe some of these messages are getting lost in translation or potentially something to do with BEIN DDoSing the Apollo servers during big games.
 
I have the latest firmware from the end of January on my GT media UHD box but do not have a VIP subscription, just a normal subscription.

So Sky IT is not opening.

Does Bein Sports open on 8 West also with a VIP subscription?

YES Mars VIP subscription Clears Sky IT and Bein Sports indeed Clears on 8 West .

It definitely looks like a cash grab of sort...
My normal Mars subs runs to July. And I won't be renewing in advance.
Wouldn't be surprised to see more sats moving to VIP.

Had anyone actually got a VIP sub for Mars on here ...

Excuse my ignorance but what does vip actually mean apart from very important person 🤣

I'm trying to follow these posts but getting lost really. Am I right in saying the GT Media boxes are the Android boxes? And the Viarks are pretty much useless unless you have a motor?

no, it works fine without vpn ,
im not really sure why i purchased vip really. i dont really think its worth the price unless your desperate for s** it.
also i have a starsat 200 extreme 4k, i do tend to think its well supported as in software releases.
but ive had few different types of these recivers over the years. they do tend to kill off the older boxes at some point and bring updated ones out ect
