Dings

ireland man, what about yourself?
had a question for ya.
have a nice dent in the passenger door of the car, no paint damage, can i suction it out or can i take the door panel off and tap it out?

hi axxxo id suction out if i were you but failing that if you take off the panel i wouldnt "tap" it out, try and force it out with the palm of you hand,, as, if you tap it you will only crack the paint.i recently did my sisters ford ka where the back quarter panel had to be forced out it was a bit of a dose getting at the dent but well worth it....let me know how you get on.:hammer:

sorry meant to add axxxo as with alot of dents the paint may not be cracked but when you force the dent out then you could find that it would then crack...depending on how new your car is and if you were willing to do a diy job yourself get the colour code from the car, most motor factors will make up your exact colour in an aerosol and if your car is metalic also get the laquer.....i did this recently to my own car and it worked out very professional..in total it cost me around 25 euro for 2 cans of my colour plus a can of laquer.....hope this helps.

hey moh, took off the panel inside and pushed it out, left with a small kink which i can live with, thanks for the tip, thanks on the way!
