HeyPasteIt

moh

Deleted, at user's request.
Most users have encountered the situation where they want to copy some text such as a product license key, from one computer to another. Often this means having to create a text file and then transferring the file to the other computer using a USB stick or CD. Here's a simple alternative that works: HeyPasteIt! is a free web service that allows you to paste the text onto a clipboard on their site where it is then stored at a unique address check it out Here

Apologies G didn't realise you had posted it before sorry about that.

Ah moh, I wasn't having a go buddy :)

The more that see it the better, it's really useful.

Even Linny (I think it was) was asking if we could create a list of all the free Apps so as users would be able to find the easier. It can get a bit of a chore scrolling through page after page for something you know is there but just can't find.

Keep them posts coming moh (y)

Yip totally agree G its very easy to duplicate a post on this thread, what seems like a great idea at the time could have been a great idea 2 months ago lol my personal opinion is that alot of these usefull application posts should be bumped up from time to time and a member can report back on how they benefited from a paticular post over a period of time just so members of Techkings can benefit from another members experience on that paticular post.

Yep, Feedback is always good moh & as you rightly point out, users (including myself) can post Apps that look promising but that we may not have actually tried out ourselves, it is always productive to get other users opinions.

From here on in im going to try out applications that are posted on this thread and report back within a 2 week period, ill also look back on applications that i have already tried and tested and report on those also, (Advance System Care is one that i cant fault) that's one that springs to mind, feedback is very important on a thread such as this, maybe we could report back the pros and cons on a particular application.

I set out to do this same thing, for the same reasons when this thread exceeded 3 pages and have not been able to do as i would've liked to. Look forward to seeing your opinion on some of these Moh, and i'm sure you'll get some help along the way.

At this point, it appears it would be a daunting task.

Cheers mate. (y)

Cheers 7th :),if members could rate a particular thread post and leave feedback it would be great,i think what happens and im guilty of this also,is that say for example Gman posts an application, the replies on that post tend to be "thanks for posting/looks interesting etc" and that's as far as it goes,it would be great to get feedback whether good or bad it helps us as members in the long run.

yes i defiantly thing a directory would benefit everyone on the forum, then as you say we can all leave feedback if and when we have tried these apps. Even if the feedback is in short for like 10 for good or 1 for bad - depending on how the directory was made up.

I Totally Agree with Feedback. As sald before, fantastic posts in this thread.
Will try some of them and let people know,I seem to say i know the apps
are there when i want them or need them. Thanks People
