Cable VM Blank channels

Have everything ready to go, but when I am selecting a non fta or terrestrial channel, the channel is just black, the info bar shows the full epg etc but a completely black channel, when I press 'ok' on the remote it is showing the server, the guy that done the line was able to show me the server was working as he was able to tell me what channel(s) I was on.

All channels are there but they just don't seem to be working.
I even put the box in to the router DMZ incase that maybe causing the issue, but still the same.

Can anyone think of anything?

Hmmm. This is interesting. If your server is right then you have internet, cam working and line in right. You tried replacing your MG_CFG config file in the same location as your newcamd.list file with the one in the Downloads section?

Yes, you should have one there already to replace. Then restart box and router. You Vix/using a backup or the factory ATV?

Make sure your tuner is set to dvb- c. and make sure the mg_cfg file is configured for cable and not sat.

Hi I've got the exact same problem. Can you link the cam_cfg file you used, and also where to add the setting to enable cable please?
Also question about setup of cable connections, do you have just the VM cable from wall socket going to RF in on the box or do you also need to feed a cable back to the VM original box via the loop out and do you need the VM card in the zgemma or just leave in the original VM box?
Thanks

Hi mate.
You need to use the RF feed using a f connector adapter. If you use the coax into the back it will not work.

I think I still have the mg_cfg downloaded but it is also available here.

mgcamd 1.35a AND cccam 2.1.3 - Downloads - TechKings

I'll check to see where it goes on the box.

I think it is /var/keys/ then just overwrite.

I have attached the file in rar format, just upload and overwrite.

Var/keys if ATV and usr/keys if VIX is the norm guys.

And etc if cccam...

OK will, so FTA channels working now. So from VM box it's just a ftype to RF connection to the box.
Also the two paths stated are the same. They are Unix softlinks [emoji3]

Do you have a line and a cam such as ccamd or mgcamd?
