Has anyone that uses this new (Latest) version of ImgBurn v2.5.0.0 in conjunction with Daemon Tools Pro noticed the ImgBurn now displays a warning message in ImgBurn log display window?

The warning is:

W 18:46:39 SPTD can have a detrimental effect on drive performance.

SPTD is part of Daemon Tools Pro but I'm not sure what it's function is.

What I do know is that Daemon Tools will not function without SPTD.

Has any of you got any idea why this is being reported by ImgBurn?

None of the previous versions of ImgBurn used to report this warning.

Gman I would report it but I'm pretty sure it's NOT gonna hurt anything... you try the NEW version yet?

I did last night and my puter locked up for some reason.. NOT sure why yet but I won't worry about it unless it happens again.. used the NEW version just moments ago and it burned perfectly... as expected. :)

You might d/l Elby's version of a clone drive and see what that does for you. CLone Drive or something like that... a FREE progie from them. :)

good luck.........

I haven't tried out the new version yet, maybe tonight. But I use Elby's version like Greeny said.

Cheers greensman,

I'm not unduly concerned as both ImgBurn & Daemon Tools Pro are working fine. That warning is only a message and not an actual error so I was more curious than anything else. The man didn't put that in there for nothing lol

I must have a look at Elby's (y)

Thus far i've not used it yet. You may want to report that to LUK just to get his take on it. He answers a lot of questions on the Imgburn forums.
