Ok heres the files as promised. Just unzip the file and then ftp into ur box, and drag and drop the usr folder that ive provided onto ur box. This will overwrite your current slyk-1-hd folder (so if youve any mods in there just now, id suggest backing them up first incase ur using any that i dont have in my mymods file)

If youve never used the toppicks mod before then ive included these as well, but ull need to follow the instructions in the kiddacs toppicks mod thread to see how to setup the 2 script files included in my download.

Thanks gman this sorted my box out and at last got the picons in the infobar, only thing i need to sort now is in the planner somehow I have library on red button instead of delete, again dont know how I did that!!
 
Thats not ur doing as that what i use the red button for as i have all my dvd/bluray rips on network storge (or library) to fix it is pretty easy. While in planner press menu and then choose settings. Scroll up the way until u see what where it says red button and make sure its got the delete option next to it. Once it has, then all u need to open the mymods.xml file and use the search function of ur txt editor to find the word Library. Then just change that to Delete.

Save and restart GUI.
 
The ch- is there to let the user know that you can press the "channel down" button on ur remote to skip down through the pages of recordings if you happen to have loads of recordings on your hard drive. But because youve only got one recording , pressing that button wont do anything for you yet.

For anyone using my new channel selection mod, you can download my new mymods.xml file as ive made a few cosmetic changes with the Select to view and also ive managed to move the record dialog box to the bottom left or right corner depending on what option u choose to show the descriptions. And if youre using the descriptions on left of screen ull need to edit the extras.xml file so that the channelselection option is ChannelSelection3 (and not 4 as i had it in my previous version)

NB: as kiddac has pointed out below that the modded py files in my full package (MovieList.py and MovieSelection.py) are for OPENATV users ONLY. If you are a VIX user please use the versions of these files on kiddacs dropbox page

I appreciate you guys are having fun experimenting, but be very careful just randomly installing modded python files. These are the core components of your box. You cant just install a py file that is for openatv onto vix and vice versa. Hence why you see me constantly saying i don't support 3rd party hacks as they are normally coded for a particular image. Thats why my planner mod has 2 versions for both images. People that are providing modded python files should clearly state what image its is for. Otherwise you may be responsible for totally crashing peoples boxes

and infobargenerics.py is pretty much THE main component for things that are displayed on screen. Mess that file up and you are in a lot of trouble.

Yeah ive now removed that file from my zip, as wasnt sure if it had been one that had been provided in the past for a previous mod that id used. So I was just looking through my folders for any .py files when creating the zip package and thought probably need that.

Especially as the hack is for infobar and not channel select screen. I am suprised half of these elements work in this mod to be honest.
