Best apps

I have iptv player v144.00.01.00 on my box and it has loads of apps, most of which look foreign, and a lot of which I have no idea what they are. Can anybody recommend which apps are useful and worth keeping for a UK viewer please? Also the kodi direct installed never works, (openvix) is there any other way to access Exodus on my box? Thanks

Delete the kodi add-on. The box will run better with it gone completely. 123 movies is best on IPTV Player but it's worth paying around with the others. Some ok ones. HD Cartoon, watch series, and maybe vumoo.

Apart from the kodi add-on there's no way to get exodus.

Thanks for the advice. Doesn't the Kodi work on any of the builds? Or does the IPTV player do the same job as Kodi? Its just that everyones telling me I should get Kodi?

yes get kodi by all means on an android box or laptop that can run it with ease,sat/cable boxes are designed to run your service adding bells and whistles makes things go belly up and running slow.

Kodi on a firestick is propably the best way to go. You can then also stream to the firestick from the zgemma to another TV in the house.

Too much messing about that way. I gave up on my Chromecast last year.

It is possible. Think you need to download a plugin but it's been a while since I played around wwiththe Chromecast.

If you go into settings on iptv and go to services configuration you can disable all the foreign sites and keep the good ones you want. Then update iptv!!. It will hide all the ones you dont want. I find movienightws movie4kto vumooch yifytv and watch series to be best but mostly use movie night as it has the best copies.

123movies is blocked by most major UK ISPs, so sadly not accessible via iptvplayer.

That is both true and false lol
The main 123 movies site is blocked but they create new unblocked URLs every few days.
If you look at the source for the 123 movies plugin on the IPTV player github you will see samsamsam is updating the plugin quite regularly with fresh unblocked URLs.

I would try but don't want to run IPTV player on my box when I have kodi built into the TV.
Its pretty easy if you get the source for the plugin to see where to edit the URLs it uses and the unblocked URLs are constantly updated on twitter by the 123 movies team.
Also there was a post in the general sat section about how to configure IPTV player to use a proxy and a site with free proxies

I don't seem to have any problems with 123 movies on iptv player using sly broadband.

Is there dedicated thread for IPTV Player eg. what to turn on/off in 'services configuration', I searched but to no avail please advise?

No mate. I just checked for the English ones and the ones that had latest movies and best quality

Stumbled across a plugin of WooshBuild's called IPTV Player Icon List & Updater which does exactly what it says in the tin!

"This plugin is designed to keep you informed of the best IPTV Player streams (hosts) and gives great detail about each one. IPTV Player is checked daily for the best hosts and this plugin updates your IPTV Player settings saving you the trouble."

Thanks again to WooshBuild!
