Hello
I have two vu+ solo2 boxes running wooshbuild v6 for iptv i have ordered a dd wrt router as im wanting to vpn my network, i'm going to use private internet access as vpn supplier can anyone give tell me how put the vu boxes on the vpn i'm new to this so an idiots guide would be good. Thanks in advance.

VPN goes on the router, this then covers all devices going through router.
Set up instructions will be provided by the vpn company

never really thought much of needing one so its mainly to get around the blocked items that are in our way.

Every thing can go through the VPN, or you can set it up so some traffic goes through the VPN and some doesn't.
Usually called policy rules, just set the IP addresses you want going through the VPN and the others to WAN.

Do you plan to use your new router to replace your isp router, my advise would be to leave the isp router and set your wrt router as an access point, enter your vpn details into the router and set it up that way. Use the access point as the router for your sat box, android box and anything else you want vpn protected. Be aware that some VPN suppliers instruction for wrt routers are rubbish and it takes quite a bit of work to set up. Make sure you get a router with a decent processing speed otherwise your router will throttle your BB speed to the point where it won't work. I tried a cheap linksys WRT54 and it dropped my bb speed from 20meg down to 2.5meg.

Post up your thoughts when you've set it up.
