Hi guys

I have an IPTV sub taken in april for 12 months using XtreamTV. I am having issues saying unable to validate after reinstall, I was using xtreamtv 0.0.2, my supplier sent me 0.0.4 to try, this is the same but gives wrong ID/MAC. 0.0.1 and 0.0.2 seemed to give correct details but would not validate. I used the mac ac:db etc to setup with my provider. Anyone any ideas i've hardly any hair left :)

Please note you can only use the plugin that is supplied by your provider. Using a plugin that's come from another source wont work.

I would contact your supplier Mansoor.
 
Following on from all the above:
I've been running XtreamTV for 3 months on two separate Vu+ Duo2 boxes. Both have IPTV subscriptions tfrom a reseller that I'm very happy with. One is connected via ethernet. The other is connected via WiFi. Things started changing when they were both upgraded automatically from Xtream 0.0.1 to 0.0.2. The box connected via ethernet carried on successfully. The box connected via WiFi stopped working with the message "Access denied Please check your internet connection". So I switched that box to an ethernet connection (with all necessary reboots and also with a removal and reinstallation of XtreamTV) but still no Access although in the process I noticed that the original MAC ID for the box had been changed. For the moment I've reverted on the second box to 0.0.1 with a WiFi connection and it's all working fine.

Does anyone know if 0.0.2 (and 0.0.4) actually won't work with a WiFi connection?
 
I went back to 0.0.1, seems to be ok 0.0.2 and 0.0.4 don't work for me on wifi or wired keep getting unable to verify device even with the 0.0.4 file my provider sent to me

hello i am running a vu+ ultimo with black hole 2.0.3 when you are using XtreamTV with a IPTV sub can you get any EPG

Using vu+duo2,running open vix with xtream tv 0.0.4 and Wi-Fi works fine and can update vix online no problem.Tried other images and wi-fi not great.My mac address changed and xtream tv would not validate,so I told my supplier the new mac address and now all fixed.All uk tv epg is fine but American channels have no epg but quality is good so not too bothered as I can get tv guide on my tablet.
 
Please note version 0.0.6 is now available. In this version you have an option to switch between Virtual MAC ID or change to Physical MAC ID

XtreamTV creates a MAC address that it gives to the server, which is called the Virtual MAC address... Some members already have a subscription from when an older version of the software was used, which used the actual MAC address of the box itself. When version 0.4 (and possibly others) were released, people who took out a subscription using their physical MAC were not allowed to connect to the server. This update will allow those people to connect to the server...

Thanks for that "cumu2003" that makes whole lot of sense.....
