Cheers.

I have had vodafone BB since october, up until a few weeks ago i would not have recommended it to anyone but the issue that cause the service to be bad in our area has now been rectified and now i find the service is on par with BT which was my previous provider.

I can honestly say vodafone. BB has got better in just a matter of months.
35mb d/load 14mb up
changed router as kept dropping off after two routers i gave up and bought one..
The service i recieve when home is very good...

1stly you will need to get username and password off vodafone..
i asked for this before buying into a 18month contract..
we bought a belkin. run cppl of phones
cppl ipads. a mac. and a mag..
runs very good in comparison to Huawei what vodafone use..

I bit the bullet and go live next week. I am going from Sly basic BB to Vodafone Fibre. I am hoping that I haven't made a mistake and will update you when I have been running a day or two.

I couldn't resist the £25pm, Quidco cash back, and free gift.

Current offer is £20pm and no "free" gift. Sounds like a steal to me, unless the service is sh!t

you may still have a cooling off period.. to amend your demands
the wifi on Vodafone is poor. but speeds are ok..
if you can get password etc. as vodafone will not give you them.. Unless your a business..
hope that helps ..

cant speak for the rest of the country but here in Liverpool , virgin are crap , customer service is beyond a joke if you complain.
you never get anywhere near he speeds they advertise, I had months of fighting with them over speeds, and charging me for a free offer, then lied saying it had not gone through despite me having a copy of the agent's conversation , and an email with the order details and number.
final nail in the coffin was when I complained they said they couldn't see it on the computer and to send the copies I had to them by email. which is on the site.
guess what they haven't got a email address.
I upped the complaint and basically got fobbed off, they said the agent must have meant his own email, I said listen to the call he said quite clearly it was on the web page and I have the call recorded , eventfully i got released from my contract as I said I was going to take it further.
go onto there own forums its just loads of people complaining , surprised its still going as its not a good advert for them.
With BT at the moment on fibre no complaints get what they say I should, have been looking at Vodafone as it seems a good deal and I have a sim off them and can get 15% off, will be looking to see how this goes for people on here that have it.

Have a read here, not good reading.
http://www.broadband.co.uk/broadband/providers/vodafone-broadband/reviews/

Every supplier has good reviews and every supplier has poor reviews. If you aren't satisfied, then you are more likely to announce it all over the internet. Google Virgin, BT, Plusnet etc you'd think that the whole of the UK has poor internet.

Before signing up to Vodafone, I checked a site that I go on, and when asked, a few people replied stating that they were satisfied with Vodafone. Their opinions were good enough for me, and as "stuss" is...they are real customers.

I have two properties, and the one that I am getting Vodafone can't receive VM even if I wanted it. Sky "basic" has been great if I am honest, the only reason that I am switching is that they wouldn't give me a competitive price for unlimited fibre.

I have had VM at the other address for about 10 years and am seriously considering ditching it. The wifi drops in and out everyday, customer services are rubbish, new routers haven't helped, and the BB is completely down at least 10 days a year, which when you work from home and rely on the internet, isn't good.

Would I recommend VM? No way. But that's only from my experience, I am sure that others love it.

Like i said in my above post you get what you pay for!
If you want basic or BB for £15 a month it will be poor.
Speeds will be slow, pay the extra and you get a far better BB, i pay £30 a month for VM BB only, 200 gamer with no traffic management, i actully get 250 download and 25 upload so all good.

To me dosnt matter what provider for bb you go too they all do same thing let you stream download browse and upload things some areas will get better service pending how close to exchange you are and how far away you plus there's always factors that there's always going to be things that slows it down from time to time and at peak times some bb providers reduce speeds from a certain time to a certain time just my opinion on bb providers

I agree and virgin admit it themselves mate they say were over utilized I pay for 100 and was getting 2/3mb for months continually fobbed of its getting fixed next month (John from India even confirmed virgin can't handle are area demand) anyway they fixed and I now get 11/17mb haha yes it works but not like everybody else above with 70 mb and 250mb and virgin don't care...
And your post h4zm4 up to would you be happy paying for 3mb NO so just because yours works for us virgin are crap....

Anyway wortho I received a letter my bill is going up and I can leave my contract no charges before the 31st October am leaving and if my Box goes of it goes of (It worked before I joined)

They don't advertise it as "100Mbps"

They advertise it as "Up To 100Mbps"

I nearly always get over 70 and often 100. So I'm happy.
I was supposed to be getting the next one up from that but was only getting 26-28 Mbps tops hence the trouble with them in the beginning, would have been quite happy with what you are getting as its well quick enough for my needs..
Think it might be over subscribed in the area, checked my nieces the other day and it was 6Mbps on a Sunday with the footy on and she has fibre with virgin.
BT giving me roughly what I am supposed to get 52Mbps lowest I have seen it is 46.
