Mag256 set up

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is anything I need to do to a new Mag256 before loading an IPTV sub onto it. I have seen there are various settings on the box and I just wondered if anything in particular needs to be configured to allow the best possible service?

Hi when I got mine brand new all I was advised to do was make sure you update it first.Then installed the sub and works perfect.
