Hi,

My parents have WB v7 on their Zgemma h2s. They some Asian FTA channels which are blank however on my personal zgemma h2s running on infinity, these FTA channels are working.

I don't want to upgrade their WB to infinity as they won't benefit the extra benefits so is their a way I can manually search/add these channels using their frequency, symbol rate and polarity?

All available Asian FTA Channels on 28.2E can be received with an N-Line (or C-Line), perhaps you have a line installed in your box? If not, I suggest you loan your box to your parents and take their box away to re-flash with WB Infinity as it may then show the missing channels.

Yeah their box has a C-Line. A fresh version of v7 was recently installed so not sure why these channels aren't working when they are FTA

Several FTA channels will not work without the C-line because they are part of the Sly UK package. OpenATV have recently changed their Softcams setup for CCcam, so that C-line on your parents' box will not work unless you re-flash to latest OpenATV 6.2 followed by Software Update to get the latest Softcams Feed 4.3-r2 that includes CCcam 2.3.2-r0-de (with DE Patch) that goes into /etc folder NOT /usr/keys folder. After installing Softcam press RED on remote then select CCcam and restart Softcam. If you re-flash to OpenATV 6.2 you should install WB Infinity as WB v7 is no longer supported

Thanks alot for this. Seems quite technical. Would all this be done if I just reflash the box to infinity?

Yes of course it is technical, so you need to learn how to program it. Takes time, trial and error, make notes as you proceed. The box runs on software from the Open Source community, people like you and me co-operating to make it all work. If you don't want technical then just buy a Sky box, it is all setup and you pay them to program it.
Best to follow the WB Infinity Setup Guide in Resources. Most will be done with flash to OpenATV 6.2, WB Infinity and Software Update. But then you have to manually insert your C-line into CCcam.cfg file in the /etc folder using Filezilla or other method. PM me if necessary. If you are near NW London I can show you what to do.

Thanks alot. I've set up infinity and all IPTV on my own box so familiar with using FileZilla and copying lines in. I'll update their boxes to infinity and hopefully it works.

Yep based in NW London so will drop a pm if needed, thanks for the offer!
