Not sure if using the correct settings for long and latitude

Hi guys, I’ve set my motorised dish up as best as I can, checked levels and all acceptable, but cannot get the dish to move or pick up any satellites, I’ve tried adding settings from motor and also the settings from dish pointer, to no avail. When I tried the motor prior to install it moved but not now, I’m at the end of my tether.

my current setup is

97cm Technomate dish
technomate mk3 2600 motor
twin LNB
R6 cabling
zgemma h7s receiver openatv - all purchased from world of satellite

if anyone could give me an idea of what my correct long and lat settings are please. Very grateful.

Are there any lights on the motor? And what amp power supply are you using with your box?
Zgemma boxes can be problematic moving a motor. Some people find using a low power lnb works.

As for your coordinates, dishpointer will give you correct details.
Ensure latitude is set to north.
For longitude if is positive (ie 1.23) set to east.
If it’s minus (ie -1.23) set to west.

Yeah mate using a 12v 2.5amp power supply which came with the zgemma h7s, I’ve attached what LNBs and receiver specs

I would disable tuner C
Tuner A driving motor select sats of your choice
Tuner B set same as A untill it is working ok

Config... Simple
Mode... Selecting sats
Select sats and save
See where you go from there.
2.5amp may not be enough to powera large dish. I use 5amp

Go back to basics mate. Im assuming you have entered your lat and long correctly in tuner config and your are using usals.
On openATV go to menu -service searching - positioner setup - movement - press red to move west or blue for east and follow onscreen to stop as required

Dose the motor move as requested to extreams of east or west and back again?

If so, good, exit and under the same menu go to signal finder - press left or right under the satellite option and the dish should move to the requested sat ??

Start at 0.8w, if the motor moves to 0.8w and you have no signal the dish needs to be aligned there first, then as above get a good balance of 30w -0.8w -42e

Right having no a look at your first screenshot
It says you have setup up both as positiner.
But you can only power the dish with one cable.
If the b cable is powered to the motor. A cable won’t move the dish

Correct only one cable connected to motor. Tuner A

Yea I was going to say the same
Bit never sure on volts talk

Needs to be the big block PSU
Once you add the lnb. To the motor it needs the power

I would suggest disable tuner B as well and disconnect the second cable from the back of the Zgemma and just leave Tuner A connected for now and then try the motor, if it moves OK then your problem as everyone has said is the Amp output to the motor and LNB, with a twin output they are not low power (Green Eco) types and need that extra amp to supply 2 feeds.

All the Zgemma range have always encountered problems with motorised systems, Your money would have been better spent on something like a Vu+ Twin tuner as they have robust power supplys to start off with
