H2H cable/satellite with WooshBuild v4.00 - OpenATV 5.3

Hi,

I just wanted to share with you that I have successfully installed WooshBuild v4.00 - OpenATV 5.3 for the H-2S on my H-2H (Confirmed similar process for wooshbuild 5.0)


  • I installed this great build as per his guide on the H-2s thread, then...
  • Point tuner B at the right cable line ie. 0004 for Cardiff.
  • FTP your box and manually remove the Region plugin folder from /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
  • On the Zgemma, use Green and then Remove plugins and then Remove AutoBoquets E2,
  • then remove all bouquets (del files, TV files and radio files) from the /etc/enigma2 folder using dream explorer, ftp or your computer network. - - Thanks to wooshman for this advice
  • Then restart your box.
  • Install your Line Via his handy USB Installer
  • Then Install AutoBoquetsMaker (ABM)
  • Add your cable provider, (sat should already be showing) set your area again ie. 0004 for cardiff.
  • While still in ABM go to configure and change it from simple to expert in here you can setup the schedule scan..i go for 05:00 each morning...
  • at the bottom change 'include not indexed channels' to yes - this will provide eir sports and sky sports 5 roi in the skyuk sports bouquet.

  • still in ABM, hit Start Scan
  • Then to get cable working I had to carry out a full tuner B cable scan
  • Reboot
  • Open Plugins and run the CrossEPG downloader
  • Then use autotimers to zap to VM preview every morning for 10 minutes to download the cable EPG - Thanks to dsayers2014 for this advice
  • or install and open EPGRefresh Plugin
  • If you see the Help pages on first entry, just click red button to close these
  • Blue Button (edit services) > Blue Button (New) > Red Button (All) - This will list all channels in alpha order
  • Scroll down and select VM Preview channel (Press OK when you’ve highlighted it
  • Green Button to save • Change ‘Refresh EPG automatically’ to YES •
  • Change ‘EPG refresh auto-start earliest’ to 04:30 • Change ‘EPG refresh auto-start latest’ to 05:00 •
  • Change ‘Show Advanced Options’ to YES • Change ‘Wake up from standby for EPG Refresh’ to YES •
  • Green Button to save NOTE - If you wish to run the refresh now, go back into EPGRefresh and press the Yellow Button and select Refresh Now – The screen will go blank for two minutes – This is to be expected

This does also work on wooshbuild 5.0, similar to the above, also reccomend the below from Dsayers

Nice guide.

You could post up a backup file so people wont need to do all this just install your backup then put in here netid and line.
 
I have a zgemma h2h I've put WooshBuild build on it
I've done all the set up and scan
It finds all the channels but
They don't come on even FTA will not show. The signal is 82% But they will just not show.
I've put the F type adaptor in to the top left connecter. What am doing wrong it can't be much now. It's got to be something so simple.

P.s. a full link set up for the h2h WooshBuild on vm would be great.
 
You can't of setup the cable tuner if your signal is 82% the h2h gives a false reading of 29% on the cable tuner tunerb

Sorry your right it is 29%
But still can not get anything to display
I've read and read just can't get them on
Even the FTA are there but blank screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No not even getting 1-5 but they are all there showing signal bar at side of most of them

The net I.d. is correct and I'm I right you just use the first 5 numbers for id.
Really can't be far off now
 
Followed it word for word still nothing I've added the line and when it scans all the channels are highlighted yellow. But the auto boutique fails and cross epg freezes

It says point auto boutique to cable but I've looked in the config and can't see that option anywhere
 
menu, setup, service searching, tuner configuration tuner b should be like this

if your not using tuner a (sat) set it to not configured

then if you've installed autobouquets marker providers you should have the options for virgin uk change virgin area to your net id

I'm with the box now so hopefully you can talk me through it. I'm just at min doing a service scan it's at 56% with 307 channels
 
You need to uninstall autobouqete e2 following the instructions above and install autobouqete marker
