Firestick vs Smart TV

I'm currently been using a firestick to run my IPTV, would you suggest trying the app on my Smart TV?

Would it be any better speed/quality?

thanks

Some people say the amazon TV is a little slow others say they are great you also have proper android tvs.

I have run IBO player on my smart Samsung TV with no issues what so ever.

Just my personal preference is a seperate device.

Same thing here.

FireTv's and android tv's have no difference whatsoever to equivalent box or stick.
Usb stick expands storage on mine.
So no issues with storage.

Install it on both, then you can try one and then the other during the same match/movie etc, obviously you can only use one at a time but if the firestick or FS remote goes AWOL you've always got it ready to roll
Smart TV or actuall Smart Android TV there are differences as you know real android no restsrictions even easier to download app from playstore if needed without needing to sideload certain apps on firestick

Not sure the android tvs will be no where near as powerful as some high end boxes. But for iptv should have no issues.
I agree high end boxes will make a difference.
On the other hand some high end stuff isn't certified and only has an app as it's selling point.

Correct I have a sheild very good box but it depends what you want at the end of the day or what your budget will allow.

If I wa choosing between the latest formuler and sheild. I would pick the sheild because it runs full tv android.

But some people may prefer my tvonline 3 and a high spec box and may not be bothered about tv android

Well to be honest: it’s personal opinion.. lots of options on tv with apps: net/ ibo/ new ibo/ nano( vpn) is a bonus/ bay tv.. duplex( if u still got it & able to activate)…only plus I see on fire device is the adv on using different media player options/ built in player/ mx / vlc etc .. tv no option I don’t believe .. & obviously u have to have the know how to activate & setup the format to activate these tv apps ., hope this helps:-)

Not really no, I got a nosebleed halfway through your post, not sure what most of it means.

It all comes down to the specs of the devices and what you want to use it for.

persoanlly i use a mag device and firestick, Prefer the Mag Device to the firestick

I have tried various android devices and most all do for iptv but if you tv has it built in you may as well use it

Used firesticks for years but over the last few months have replaced them all with Chromecast apart from the main living room TV I just use tivimate app directly on the smart TV without any issues
