Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

Does the catching fire issue happen if the box has been turned off by pressing the power button on the remote or does it need unplugging?

I only use mine when the footy is on so it’s very unattended

Only happened to one box switch it off at the plug to be on the safe side.
 
Hi guys got a x8 uhd working great on 28.2 …. Looking at next season for sat opens is 16east the best or is the others I should look at ? Thanks guys
 
Have the pt1.14 Software in my viark sat 4k .switch on the viark sat 4k on sky cinema classics does the viark sat 4k restart why?happens at irregular intervals only with encrypted channels. Is there a receiver defect?

If it is completely rebooting, there is a problem.

back up your channel list
Factory reset
Reflash 1.14
Factory reset
Re install channel list

If it carries on after that try another power supply.

As i said,i just have to click on EPG for example with the remote control the viark sat 4k restarts and starts from scratch.Had the Problem here in the Forum with his viark sat receiver?
