Plugins AutoBouquetsMaker 3.5 (07 March 2026)

When updating to or installing an image built after 07/03/2026, please check your ABM setup as some previous options will no longer be available.
Just running ABM will result in an error as it will try to use a configuration that is no longer valid.

The "Custom regions" have been removed from the provider files. A new option to toggle the custom mode has been added to the Sky UK and ROI providers.
The "Include non-indexed option" has also been moved to the Provider's menu.

@Abu Baniaz said in his OP, if installing an image or build made after 7th March then you'll need this version, I dont think the latest Vix is that new

Have you set it to scan freeview channels for your region?

We changed the python files to read/select region in Sky provider files and enable the custom mode hacks. Unless you have the accompanying python files, updated provider files will cause a crash. To prevent people updating to incompatible provider files, we increase the version number.

There really isn't anything that affects creation of bouquets. Even the 5SD swap deletion is essentially negligible because a swap won't occur if the target does not exist or it's not HD.

There is a myth about updating provider files. It isn't necessary unless there are significant changes like a boundary change or significant positional changes. In any case it will still work and create channels.

Uninstalling and installing a plugin will only get you a newer version of a plugin if the plugin server has had a new build run or the plugin is independent of the image build process. Eg picons, channel lists. ViX does not do nightly release builds, the plugin server will get updated whenever the next Release is build.

There have not been any changes to the plugin to deal with any Freeview changes. Freeview = Aerial channels. So to me, this is not an ABM issue. Probably something localised. Check the Freeview website for the status of your local transmitter. Try scanning Aerial channels using the function in Enigma2 and see if it finds channels. Or install Terrestrial scan plugin. It's a far better option as Freeview do not change frequencies that often, so no need to run regularly. They advertise the retune message well in advance anyway.

If on the other hand you mean FreeToView channels on 28.2 or the Irish replacements, have you enabled the custom/not indexed option in the menu? They are marked in red on the screenshot uploaded.
