cat 6

Ethernet Switch to HDMI can I make one?

I have a netgear FS108 and If i made a hdmi coming from a tv to cat 5 for the incoming feed and came out with cat 5 to hdmi for satellite, games consoles etc would this work for both picture and sound in 4K as I am having issues with HDMI switches?
