2 boxes, freeze in sync

I have one line in, 2 boxes, all well for 12 mths, just renewed now one box works while the other freezes, then that box starts while the other freezes. It does this in sync all the time...any ideas?

Turn the one box off and see if the freezing stops on the other box,That would indicate that the line is not a multiroom one,A lot of providers have been cutting back on multiroom so to stop servers being over loaded

Would you not be better contacting your provider, if you've just renewed then nothing should've changed in terms of multiroom. Both boxes worked before, therefore they should still work.

I've tried 3 times, still waiting for a reply, just want it sorting soon as poss, don't mind paying to get it done sooner rather than later

Jaydee, when you said renewed, did you keep the same line or were you issues with a new one?

Sounds like your provider has switched you from a multi line to a twin. A bit naughty tbh, but not a bad thing really because twins are more reliable. Give them a fair chance to get back to you. Providers do have lives lol

Cheers lads, I think it was new line I had to save to USB and load onto box..bit of a technophobe with these boxes soz. Hopefully he'll get back and we can all live happily ever after...cheers again

your provider hasn't enabled multiroom on the new line he provided

Like i said before a lot of providers have cut back on multiroom with all the trouble a few months back,If its a twin tuner line then the chances are its a real card server better than the cashe ones every time

contact your supplier and verify if multiroom is enabled...if it isn't then ask him what your options are..if you will need to buy another line or if he can enable multiroom for you
