8mm camcorder Needed

Hi, ime looking to transfer some old 8mm tapes to disc. I have done it in the past. But after years in the garage my camcorder has given up. Even when plugged into the mains it won't run for more than a minute. Anybody got a working one laying around. Don't expect it for nothing obviously Thanks.... Paul

Just saw this, did you get sorted with a camcorder

To be honest we sent the cassettes off to a person on Facebook who put them to disc at a cost of 6 pounds a disc. Why wot you got pal. Thank you... Paul

I think its a something like a Sony TR728, I tidied it away last year and Can't find it now, it is in mint condition hardly used it at all and always been kept in a carry bag, the battery is probably shot though
