I just got 2 a780 and they worked good for 1 day then they went off and been off for 2 days now

i know there is a update but cant download it
can anyone tell me if there box is working still on

sw version pv4.1.00
h/w v3.0.0

and anyone have this problem?
 
no but tested it today at my friends and it never worked there

ive been told on another forum its because i never got the last update in april to bring me up to s/w pv4.1.01
just wanted to check that was right
 
Im having the same problem, box is on the April Firmware, have a working virmin box. Software update just hangs when trying to do it through the menu. I have re-set router and done factory restore and re-scan, checked VM site for known issues, there was one but fixed on the 8th, so should be no reason yet still only FTA channels working. Any ideas when the Nov firmware files might become available to do Manual flash?
 
press home...help&settings...systems info.. diagnostics....top line is your net id... on your vm box to get the correct info for kv.
 
I've got the netID for the virmin box, how do I confirm if this is the same on the KV? If it isn't how do I go about changing it? Thanks for the help
 
Yeah mine has just come back on also, would still be interested in confirming the NetID and that is the same on VM and KV box
 
it is when you are scanning and it brings up loads of net ids:binoculars:look closely👍if you are posting a link make sure its not a live link.
