advertishing design software

Hi I'm looking for some kind of design software for creating menus, banners flyers etc

could someone point me in the right direction please ?

Gimp is the best free software out there. There is quite a lot in it, so you would have to do your homework on it though.

Obviously professionals use Adobe photoshop and illustrator for this kind of work but they are not free.

@the reaper its really great link but for Banner Designing I'm using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software and both are the best software for designing. :👍:
