Alternative PC software for streaming to H.2S?

Hi all. Im currently streaming channels to a second tv via a pc using the browser (openwebif) and VLC, which is fine and works really well but is there is any software that can streamline the process into one place like the android and ios apps Vu+, DreamEPG, etc?

Ive had a look but cant find anything specifically for pc. The alternative is to buy an MXQ box and run the android apps on that instead.

Cheers. I'm gonna give Kodi a go later. Do you know if there is anything specific need to do on the box before hand? I'm running Whoosh's build atm
 
in openwebif if you click the blue tv icon next to all channels. this downloads the entire channels as a playlist. Just the open this up in vlc and no need to keep going back to openwebf then.
