So I'm dipping my toes into iptv for the first time and have decided on the mag 256 box. Whilst I wait for the box to arrive I've had two different test lines which I've ran on my Amazon fire box. Both lines have lots of freezing especially on vod. Is this the norm for iptv or the box or line?
 
I'd say line but so many variables that would be unfair to say.. fire box is more than capable of delivering a freeze free service but the planets need to be aligned perfectly to get freeze free all the time. I run mine through zgemma h2s with little or no freeze on a 30/10 down and up through a VPN router with little problem so that's were I base my answer.

Have i55 and h2s on the go here with very little freezing, even watching fhd channels. not sure this will help but maybe keep trying trials until your happy!
 
Just seen someone complaining about firesticks on another site, maybe its that that's causing it to freeze! I'm not familiar with it so maybe take this comment with a pinch of salt! haha.

If it helps. I use a FS and watch FHD without any problems so they're more than capable of running iptv without problems. Need to look at isp and provider if you are getting freezing issues.
 
Check it out on a PC using VLC... If it's stuttering/freezing on there, then it's likely to be an issue with your line. If it plays fine on there, then it's an issue your end...

Not normal at all. I use fire tv with smart iptv and never experience any freezing and I'm streaming wirelessly to the box watching FHD channels at 1080p. Could be your service provider. If your tests are not running fine then its their server. Try someone else.

Cheers. Had 4 lines and all froze constantly today watching the footy. Doesnt bear well for the new season.
