Amiko A6 Fast Forward

I have an Amiko A6 and cannot fast forward in recordings used to be able to and miss adverts. Anyone got any ideas please.

Try using the directional buttons to ff rw ect I’ve noticed same I havnt checked for an update that will be next steps

Thanks have tried that, Also updated to 1.0.40 . But no luck.

On the zgemma remote you can use the number buttons to skip forward and back,
3 +30 secs
6 +60 secs
Don't know if it works on amiko tho.

Are you using an external player for recordings ? If not try one if you are try another

There is that option as well as a smooth continuous advance but neither works. The cursor moves across but the video stays playing at normal speed. But thanks for the idea.

When you move the cursor to where you want it try pressing the play button.

No I have a usb stick. Also have tried taking out the stick and using an sd card. Still no luck. Maybe something needs a reset. Thanks for your interest.

Is it saying ext4 meaning it is set up correctly

If you go into Mount manager you can see if your device is setup correctlly
Usually in Menu - Setup -Vix- mount manager

He’s using android box bud can’t put images on them lol

Yeah but any formatted external media auto mounts as soon as you plug it in.

Sorry dont understand . Are you saying the box is Android so its ooops no good. I did state in my orignal post it was an Amiko6. Was pretty sure I posted in the correct section.

I have an A6 and this works fine with mine, arrow either side of ok then press ok to play
