Because suppliers do things differently.
1. They give you a portal, user and password.
2. They take your MAC address and give you their portal.
The benefit of the first is you can use your line on many different apps and devices(not at the same time) ~ you could for instance put it on your phone and your new A9, and as long as you only use one at a time, you can use both.
The downside of the second is that you are tied to that box/mac.
That's how I see it anyway.

Because you can use either Mac based sub or user/pass/url

yes on all the other android boxes I had it gave you the option but this one doesn’t

You are running via a mac code so only need the portal url. Need to ask your supplier about other options m3u - user/pass-url

You are entering /c on end of portal for example http://providersdns.kegs/c

You give him the Mac address.
He'll ignore the first six digits because they're set to 00 1A 79 on the server so he needs 32 16 93.
He gives you the portal to enter.
If it's not working either you have given him the wrong digits, he's put the incorrect digits in or you have put the wrong portal address in

You have 2 mac codes use the 00:1A:79 one

I asked him earlier & he said there’s nothing he can do from his side. He never came across this before

ask him for his Android app, it would probably be easier for both of you.
You just need a username and password
The MYTV2 built in app is cracking on the amiko its their own version pabs

I know but it's a way of watching telly and up to now he's watching a black screen.
Better to have a picture via a 3rd party app than nothing at all via the best app on earth
