Amiko Combo S2 T2

Hi Folks

My neighbour has asked me to help them out with an amiko box. Now i've never had the pleasure of working with this box before but I know its been running with a gift so its obviously doctored as such

Any way from reading previous threads it says go

Menu - internet - net client config and then manually insert.

But there is no net client config.

Can someone please advise?

I'm afraid to run new software just incase I feck it up but don't know what to do.

Id really appreciate your help

Thanks

when I set one of these up I had to add a .abs file via usb and that then gives you the network client config

Thank you garyth can you explain exactly how I do that and what exactly the .abs file is. Now I know what you mean by add it by usb I just don't know what the file is

Thank you kindly for your reply.

Edit: What I also don't understand is if this already ran a gift it should have been set up. Thanks again.

folks I read all 14+ pages of the bees guide. Its very comprehensive and very detailed but it will not deal with this, It does suggest I reflash the box the problem I have there is its not my box so id rather try avoid that and if it was already working a gift it must not need it.

I hope I'm making sense, I'm sure someone has came across this problem and its what I'm hoping.

Thank you all for your reply so far

Official firmware doesn't have the extra internet - net client config option
so it's hard to see how it has been clearing channels without the patched firmware flashed.

Will work on FTA channels but that's it.
