Look in the link I sent you scroll down you will see every box it supports dosnt have to be enigma2 based box

I thought they where closed source, on the atv images site the amiko mini isn't listed although the amiko alien mini is, are they the same box?

It's listed on infitiy install page as tried and tested wonder if same image of mini alien

Yea I saw that but can't find any specs that indicates it's an enigma2 box which most boxes do state, the alien mini specs state:

• Linux Embedded OS
• Endless possibilities with Plug-In support

Enigma2 being linux, but the mini doesn't mention either the OS or plugins etc in the spec.

Strange mate how no specs stating on the mini

Is this one of those off boxes which can boot E2 and it's own OS ? The Alien does this if I remember rightly.

to add to confusion, http://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/current/index.php links to the amiko alien mini but when you follow the link, they name the images amikomini

the aliens specify linux and or duel boot in specs the normal mini doesn't.
