Thinking about buying M9S PRO S905X has 2gb of ram and 16gb hd, plus has sd card slot to add extra memory.

I want to use kodi just to watch films thats it, i dont want builds as it always slows down. I just want box what runs quick with kodi. Also wud this run iptv?

Also where should i buy from? And is there anything better than this for same price they are roughly 30 quid online? Thanks
 
Yes it will run IPTV, and it should stream ok too.

I have a lower spec MXQpro and it runs IPTV, Terrarium , Covenant and UHD Netflix which is a little bit glitchy now and then
so with the extra RAM you should be ok.

It looks like the proper HD feeds need the RAM. Thinking of upgrading myself.
 
I've just bought off Ebay in the past.

T95Z has 3GB and 32GB ROM for about £60

So £30 seems like a decent price for the box you mentioned

It's only the UHD Netflix, all the rest are fine, most of the Kodi streams
are 720 tops so even with a better spec they will run the same.
 
It's not a matter of power, it's availability.

So if you use Covenant and Kodi or Terrarium for instance, basically free internet streams
they may say they are 1080p but they are not. Most HD content is streamed at 720.

I have a cable box to compare with and the stream quality is pretty good, but no where near as good as my cable box.

So also have a UHD Netflix pass which I run on the MXQpro and the picture quality on that is much better than free Kodi streams.

At least that is what I have found so far.
