hi peep's im looking for a new anti virus for my pc, my avg has expired and seem;s like there just wanting more and more each year for each additional thing instead of a package

I use bitdefender , mine expires next month , am sure it cost me something like £70 a year , too expensive that , so I am looking for an alternative as well.

I believe if you stay of the dodgy sites so to speak and do regular maintanance of your computer then a free anti virus and malware program is more than sufficient.

But can be different for some.

Im shocked ive never had issues but if it aint broke dont fix it.

I had that ransomware thingy take over my computer few years ago and what an eye opener it was lol.

Since then touch wood not had any such issues.
