Anyone Starting To Have Issues With Sky?

Since moving i'm having to manage with Sky Superfast 35, recently i've been getting a bit of stuttering at peak times even if i use a vpn. I can get the next speed up now so my question is, would there be any benefit in going over to BT since my lad is convinced sky is throttling me?

Using WIFI?
I would hard wire to the router & start trouble shooting from there before you change provider.

cheers for that

already hard wired, i've checked most stuff i can, my lad uses a firestick on virgin and uses the same supplier with no issues at all so i'm sort of ready to leave sky i think

Try this link on a browser on your device at different times of the day and compare the results and also check latency results.
A vpn will decrease speed and will make your latency slower which you don’t want.

Have you tried turning your router off at the mains for 5 mins and turn back on again?

Yeh done that, I've got a shield, my son has the firestick, I'm pretty switched on to be honest, I'm just wondering if anybody else has had throttling problems with sky

Have you got "shield" turned off on your sky broadband account ?
If you have your cellphone with a different providor , can you turn wifi off on phone and hotspot the phone and connect the shield to it and test ?

There’s your answer, you shouldn’t have moved lol. What’s the returns policy on the current house?

I’m guessing you’re in a shoddy internet area and everyone is overloading the connection at peak times.
I think you're dead right mate, problem is, when women have these fancy ideas, they haven't got footie to think about!

yeh did a few: d/l u/l latency:
22.9/8.94/8.65
36.0/9.09/8.91
34.8/7.21/13.7
36.6/9.02/11.2
36.7/9.04/13.4
How did the results compare with VPN running and did you use my speed test link?
Do all channels stutter at peak times or certain channels?
