Autobouquets on Grogsbuild

OK, so I've now moved on to a different issue.

If I set Autobouquets to "Westcountry Custom" it takes all of the Sky channels out of the menus. If I set it to "Westcountry SD" then all of the Sky channels come back but, obviously, it puts the SD channels for BBC, ITV, CH4 etc in to the menu instead of their HD counterparts.

Any ideas how I've screwed up this time?

Cheers

Set to sky uk your area Custom SD and check FTA only is no then you should have the available premium channels. If you want hd first change channel swap to yes.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've just tried as you have suggested and the Sky channels have disappeared again

Custom regions should remove the dead channels if you're wanting none available channels then use SD/HD region. Channel swap towards the bottom of sky uk should swap SD with HD.

OK, thanks for the further info. Unfortunately it now swaps all HD channels in to the EPG. So, I can no longer select the SD channels that work with my line (W, Gold, Dave etc). This makes sense but it isn't a usable option for me. I don't know what the difference is between how Whooshbuild creates an EPG and how Grogsbuild does it but with Whooshbuild I could have all the full listing with just the FTA HD channels listed and all the rest as SD.

SD Custom should only show the available channels and channel swap at the bottom only swaps channels that are available.

Thanks, I may have to go with that which is a shame. I find it easier to look at a single EPG where I can see the Sky channels (even though they aren't available) and then switch to IPTV if I want to watch that particular channel. Odd that I could do it with Whooshbuild but not with this build. Maybe it used a different bouquet maker. Problem is, as it always just worked I didn't need to mess about with the settings so I have no idea what the maker was or what it was set to!

Thought I'd sussed it - there is a "swap channels" option on the Freesat section as well as the Sky section. Set "Yes" for the Freesat section and "no" for the Sky section, Scanned, waited, opened EPG and.....................it made absolutely no difference whatsoever!

It can be a bit of 'trial and error' fiddling to get it right for your area, but to try and assist
you, I have taken the liberty of doing a quick search for you :-

Search results for query: autoboquetsmaker
Search results for query: autoboquetsmaker settings
Search results for query: use autoboquetsmaker

A bit of reading and you surely will resolve it.
Thanks. Managed to manually amend the sat_282_sky_uk.xml file which seems to have sorted it all. Amazing what you learn when you have issues!
