Backup Of Image - not fully backing up everything

Hi,

Backed up my image through VIX and flashed it onto another box. A few things i noticed and was hoping someone could help with -

The folder size of the original image was 135mb after tweaking that image and making a backup through VIX. The new image was around 660mb mainly due to the difference in the kernel.bin files

kernel.bin file on my original image is around 6mb. The kernel Bin on the new image is about 525mb?

TS Media on the original backup was the 7.91 version and I updated that to 7.94. However on the new backup image its still 7.91?

Same for MUZU.tv plugin on the new image its still showing the older version even though i updated it before backup.

Is there a way i can create a FULL image backup to include the updates to the software above and maybe also includes bouquets which I've added into the channel list from IPTV.

Trying out new plugins and settings - Its a ball ache to install/ update everything again every time i make a mess of the box.

not a thing i would recommend,flash box with no settings restore,the more you do it the quicker it gets lol.ooooooops forgot started mine a month ago lol
 
of the box your working on yes but if your doing an assembly line of boxes and image has a bug is that a swarm lol

I did eventually find and use backup suite. The version i used had a direct to USB function. I did find it worked initially in the early stages of the image i was creating - i'd make a working copy everytime i installed a few plugins - After a certain amout of plugins and specifically when i intsalled cccam 2.1 or something. The Backup Suite image wouldnt flash properly on other boxes.

Ive been playing around with these boxes for the last 2 weeks and one thing i can say is that they are very tempremental.
