I watched the videos and then I found the USB-SDCARD WIZARD in my MXQ box and I clicked on it to do a "FULL BACKUP". In the next screen I clicked on Backup, then FULL BACKUP. Then for about 1/2 of a second, a small window popped up that said, "USB BACKUP/RESTORE - 1% Please Wait". Then the small window disappeared.

((BTW, I clicked on the second video for "Backup" and I only got audio))

What could cause this to happen and what are my next options to fix this so I can do a backup?

You can also use adbfire on a laptop or pc to make backups of your kodi setups.

Very handy when you have spent alot of time configuring kodi to your liking.

Thanks, but I'm a Newbie with computers and the MXQ box and not good at configuring the settings for a program like adbFire. I'm struggling trying to figure out the MXQ box. smh

Fusion, Please re-post the second YouTube video you posted previously. All I'm getting from it is just Audio. I want to see what it is and try it, since I'm getting an Error message trying to use the USB SDCARD WIZARD. (see the 2nd posts above) I need help with that.

The backup and backup and restore video for "Backup", finally worked for me and I went to Back Up and click on it and got an "Error: Remote path doesn't exist"
I went to Settings-Backup and on the General tab I selected, Remote Path Type....Browse Path. I got a new window and I went down and clicked on Browse Remote Path.Then clicked on External storage. I click on External Storage and next window I clicked on Browse Remote Path. I got to a page, Settings - Backup/Scheduling tab and scheduled a backup for 22:00 hrs. The OK button won't work and I can't X out of the page. Its like the box is frozen. I'll see If I get a backup and reply back to this forum.

In the meantime, Please tell me what can I try next to fix this problem, so I can back up. I really need ti backup my box before something bad happens. So any help anyone can help me, please do.
 
I am still unable to backup my MXQ box. Someone please give me the steps on what to do so I can do something to do something to be able to backup my MXQ box. If I've got to download something, please tell me a URL and how to get to where to put in the URL to download an app so I can backup my MXQ box. Then tell me the steps on how to install the app to backup my MXQ box. I think I've pretty well described my problem. This has taken weeks and I still haven't been given directions to do something to be able to successfully do a backup of my MXQ boz. Thanks in advance
