Bad freezing on the skybox

I'm pretty new to all this so excuse me! I thought I had it all nicely set then Tonight, I try and record one channel while watching another only to find the one I'm watching freezes every few seconds.

I'm using a gigablue quad, running the vix 3.0 image.

I only have one nline running through mgcamd, thinking one line is for one box, do I need two, or is there some setting or something I've missed?

All this is making me want to give up, well pissed off with it all! Lol
