Best equipment to allow zgemma to be hidden in cupboard and remote eye used?

Late to the party but may be useful for other finding this thread...

If you don't need the RF modulation (i.e. taking the output of the box and putting it out so your remote TV can tune into it) then this is a cheaper option than the Triax Tri Link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00GZ5A63U

Does the same job in feeding back your remote control to the hidden set-top box, but it also includes a magic eye for the remote TV and doesn't include the RF modulation components which isn't needed if you've got HDMI going to the remote TV.
 
Ive just help a friend do that exact thing and i got him these from amazon and they work a treat. The hdmi cable that you already have between zgemma and tv is put onto each end of the receiver and transmitter. Then there are IR dongles like magic eyes that plug into those and you can reuse ur original remote and the signal gets sent down the hdmi cable.

iv got this setup but it wont work properly
