Boot Loop

I have 2 boxes. First set up fine but the second is stuck in a boot loop and won't go beyond boot.

Have tried to reflash but stays in boot mode after flashing from USB.

Any ideas?

Have a go at flashing with bog standard openatv from zgemma site, see if that works, then try again with your custom build

Just downloaded the openatv file for 30 Dec and the box goed from boot to USB to Update the back to boot and then hangs

Not fixed. Used rear usb port and multiple usb sticks as well. Seesm to flash ok but will not move from boot on the front screen.

When you say the boot screen, what's it showing on your tv? And does your box just say boot? But you say it says update so it is recognising your drives

BTW the only cables connected are the power and HDMI

Right then connect your sat cables, it will show boot screen on tv if no source detected

The TV has nothing on it. The boot message is on the LED screen on the box along with the red LED light

Can you try the power supply from the working box on the box stuck on boot just to rule out a power issue?

Sill nothing on the TV and boot on the box

Have done that already and still the same. So have HDMI, power cable, and LNB in connected

Sounds like the box may have a faulty flash chip or possibly a bad CPU (would be surprised if the CPU was faulty seeing as its flashing though)
Contact who you bought it off and tell them its faulty
