Box not seen on network and nas also not seen on network via switch.

8 port switch in main room with H7s + android + solo2 + nas + tv.

Is it normal not to find Nas and Solo2 with using a switch.

Yes samba is active and can log into H7s and Nas from bedroom to view or move files

Sitting room network browse on H7s does not see solo2 or Nas all coming from the switch is that normal.

Kitchen does not see the solo2 either and on an 8 port switch.

Et 10000 also on a switch in bedroom sees the H7S and Nas but not checked for the Solo2 yet so unsure.

Reboot the router, power it off for 4 minutes at least.
Cures 99% of connection issues

What are you actually trying to do? Mount a network drive?

what is running on the box? if atv 6.4 then you need to add an exports file to allow it to be seen on specified network

Cacti running ATV? I don't think so somehow

I had to manually add exports file to my main box that has hdd on, and add line to fstab file on other box for it to see main box.

Solo 2 is on the network as i did a network scan and it finds my

can you see/browse them all on your network from computer?

I can go into webif on laptop but unsure to see whats on my network as i could on w7 and this is now w10.
Webif works on all boxes.

Are the switches passive,?
I can see everything on both my home networks from anywhere on any of the networks,
ie
Network 1 is xxx.xxx.1.xxx
Network 2 is xxx.xxx.2.xxx
And I can see devices on either network, my boxes are on N2 behind a VPN, and another switch to box 2 , I can see my boxes from my laptop on N1 , and my boxes can see my laptop

Log into your router and check what it can see on your network.

Unsure about the switch , okay on desktop pc i can now see my vu solo2.

Dam no info on my router as my vm is asking for a password which is many years old

Yes now i can from desktop all are seen.
not tried to add my box ip manually to mount it.
