Box freezing after flashing

Newbie
Wonder if anyone can help. Have flashed my KV box and get the success message on completion, thing is the box shows On in the display and wont switch to standby with the remote or botton on front of box. will only switch off with button on back of set. Not showing anything when connected to tv, just blue screen.
Would appreciate any help.
 
You need to flash it with the bin file

After you have reinstalled the .bin file use the software update via your remote (s/w update). this will get you up to v4.101

Its those dirty words again.."Null Modem cable"..You never want to see that in someones thread as it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth..!!
The correct cable which can be brought from Lincsat nick nacks.(anyone would think i got shares in these people..) is only used once to load firmware onto box..am i correct senior members..? and IF your download is successful you can update it over the internet..sorry allyb dont read that last bit of the sentence.!!
ps dont forget to take off the small square poorly camouflaged tab on back on KV box and put in your ethernet cable/bb... you know who you are.. so have a good laugh about it as i will continue to for a long time..
