Boxes for kodi??

Hey, I recently started playing around with kodi,
I have it on my laptop and hudl. I'm now looking for boxes that it can be installed on to watch through my TV. Any ideas to best box to set up kodi on?

Fire sticks work pretty well. You can pick one up for around £30.

Or you can connect Hudl via HDMI direct to TV. This works.

I have a droidbox that came with Kodi preinstalled and it is excellent I must say. Slightly more expensive than other options though

The hudl doesn't have an HDMI port. Looks like usb 2.

Any droid box may do it but some will run very slow as its spec is poor.

When u say fire stick do you mean from Amazon? Would that need to be jailbroken\ hacked?

Had a look at present installed boxes on Amazon but most had a lot of poor reviews

Hoops my daughter Hudl has a micro HDMI port on it as far as I am aware. I am sure I have connected it to the tv.

Have both mxq box and mx111 both work good with kodi the difference between the boxes is mx111 has 2gb ram compared to the mxq 1 gb and there is a noticeable difference in page speed , most andriod boxes only come with 1gb ram and mx boxes come preloaded with apps and kodi , so the more ram you have the faster page speed

Spark, as I say have a few of these mx boxes, set up for a few mates mxq ya runs kodi great , when I get the boxes they come preloaded loaded so I skin them down by deleteing a lot of the addons that are crap, I keep about 10 addons ie genesis , icefilms , robinhood , sportsdevil , pheonix, makes the box run a lot quicker, also trying out the blackbox build on one box , and very impressed you should check it out

Philmein have two mx111 boxes which has 2gb ram and run very well , I found a lot of the problem guys have when they get the boxes preloaded most installed repos/addons are rubbish , I prefer to barebone them and just install , xfinity, and fusion and pick my own repos from their makes the box a lot quicker and cuts out buffering

Exactly what I do you can get footy on standalone apps just use kodi for movies and TV series..
A smart DNS is also a must to watch geo locked stuff much easier than a vpn

Yep that's the way too go , Im testing the blackbox build on one box for a week or so now and very impressive, has some new movie addons and one that's brill on it is UK box sets perfect quality , well worth checking out ........

Yes I have the black box build it updates weekly and its painless to update. All the EPG is set up for you

Yep long may it roll, happy viewing , have done a bit tinkering with vu dou2 box as in kodi direct could get nothing to run properly at first from the kodi direct plugins , so I ftp a couple addons over to the box and got genesis, sportsdevil,pheonix to run OK by following blackies thead so all due credit to him........

Try one of the octa core boxes 2Gb ram 16 Gb flash memory, works well with Kodi and iptv pick one up for about £45 on ebay.
