Bricked ? is this a problem

I have been reading the posts and Bricked seems to be the only worry stopping me purchasing a Cloud ibox 2 or similar. Are we talking about a flash gone wrong. How easy is it to cock this box up. I have a Spider 7000HD cccam obviously for c/s paid. This box was easy to flash but now not handling all things I need so Cloud possibly would. So Bricked, Thoughts please.
 
Great box, easy to use. set it up and leave it. Play about with settings, changing images all the time and you can easily screw it up. It's not built to the same quality as a VU+ so won't take the same level of abuse.
 
they are clone boxes if you can afford it buy the octagon sf8 you will no problems and they are a reasnoble price.
 
Thanks for that. The other prob is what is genuine and what is not. VU+ Eb** single channel £149 Clone? Octagon sf8 from Germany around £130 What do you think.
 
People use bricked way to freely. All they need is a reflash. Bricked should be reserved for un-rescuable lol
 
Ah I use bricked when it is totally rubbished. If it is recoverable with a reflash then no real worries although it may be a easy box to mess up and frustrating.
Will be looking into all boxes mentioned although Linux is new to me so will be difficult for some time.
