Cable Box Higher Core Clock Or More Physical Cores .

So av been looking around online here are 2 different boxes .

ZGEMMA H9T .

ARM Processor with 1500MHZ Quad Core
(Qaud Core CPU Clocked at 1.5GHZ)

VU+ UNO 4K SE

1700 MHz ARM Dual core processor
(Daul Core CPU Clocked at 1.7GHZ)

Question is which would ye buy The QAUD CORE AT 1.5GHZ OR THE DUAL CORE AT 1.7GHZ

A Understand theres other factors such as Flash / Ram .

Would like to hear yer opinions .

Zgemma is 1.5ghz

Vu is 1.7ghz

The quad core will have more grunt in CPU intensive tasks however unless you're really stressing it with plugins, anything above the entry level 750MHz CPU is perfectly fine for most builds.

Those 2 boxes you've listed really are like comparing apples & oranges. Vu+ is a much better built box with official support for more builds. Better remote and extra features.....but they are bloody expensive so you get a lot more restrictive configuration for the lower price point boxes.
Zgemma have a lot of bang for the buck and perform perfectly well. Personally I would go for the ZGemma due to it serving its intended purpose for a lower price point.
