Cable Line Channels - Freezing / Glicthing Troubleshooting

Yeah I think a signal issue would cause pixellation / distortion and not freezing.

We had to put a shorter cable on the splitter and it sorted it out.

Have been in contact with line provider an he reckons theres no problem with his lines. Told me to unplug everything to reset/reload box & hub. Will give it a go tonight after work.

If it's freezing, it's probably your line. Glitching is just interference showing on screen.

Try reducing the line make your modern line smaller.

I've had this-freezing for quite a while on certain-and usually less popular channels-lets put it this way footy has been ok.My provider says his line is ok and even referred me to this post! I used to have a second official vm box which worked great and this is the feed I'm using for my zgemma

people tend to forget how old crappy cables have issues,newer cables with crimped fittings are better.

What is a good splitter to get?

Was looking at the above Labgear which is 5-2400 but I thought I read that its best to get a max of 1000mhz to avoid interference, is that true?

5-1000mhz are what VM use but i've used loads of those 5-2400mhz ones from Screwfix and they have been fine.
