Can plex sub work alright on fire tv box

Ive had my lifetime plex vod sub now for a while on my fire tv box,but lost some channels,contacted my supplier who has been spot on, but his reply was that it doesn't work on fire tv and that why he doesn't connect them box's.Is there problems having this plex vob service on a fire tv box or is the problem at his end.

Also is there any difference between a fire stick and a fire tv box,just most poeple seem to talk about the fire stick more

I think it just that the fire box is not compatible to run the plex software, The box is more superior that the stick, more memory in the box, might even have a faster processor , and an ethernet connection is always far quicker than wi-fi one..

My fire tv box was running the plex-vod alright until recently, but now he's saying it doesnt work on this fire tv box, are other people using there fire box for the same plex -vod services or are yous using something else.
